KDev Studio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application QR-Master (the “App”) collects, uses, and safeguards information.

All payments and subscription management are handled securely through Google Play Billing. We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card or payment information.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Google Drive Data Backup & Restore

QR-Master provides an optional feature to back up your data (scan history, generated codes, and settings) to your personal Google Drive account. To facilitate this, the app requires access to your Google Drive Application Data Folder or files created by the app.

• How we use your data: The Google Drive permissions are used strictly to upload and restore backup files created by QR-Master.
• Limited Use: The app only accesses files it has created. It does not access your personal photos, documents, or other files on Google Drive.
• Data Privacy: Your data is transferred directly between your device and Google's servers. We (the developers) do not access, view, collect, or share your backup data with any third parties.
• Encryption: QR-Master offers End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) for backups. If enabled, your data is encrypted locally before upload, ensuring that only you can access it using your recovery key.

9. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Google API Services Disclosure:

QR-Master’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The application requests access only to the following Google Drive scopes:

• drive.appdata – to store and restore encrypted backup files within the app-specific Application Data Folder.
• drive.file (if applicable) – to access, create, and manage only the files created by QR-Master.

The app does not access, read, modify, or delete any other files in your Google Drive.

Data obtained through Google APIs is:

• Used solely for backup and restore functionality
• Not sold or shared with third parties
• Not used for advertising purposes
• Not transferred outside the app except as required to provide the described functionality

All backup data is transferred securely using encrypted HTTPS connections. If End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) is enabled, backup files are encrypted locally on the user’s device before being uploaded.
